November Recap & December Goals

November was a little busier than I anticipated – more time spent in the city than I expected, and a lot more family time than I thought with different family members coming in early and staying later than normal during Thanksgiving. I’m writing this from New York now (to continue on the 2016 travel tour) and starting to think about what I need to do this month to (first of all, survive the rest of this year, and also) start 2017 off on the right foot!

November Recap

  • Find a place to live
  • Work out three times per week
  • Run sub-40:00 Turkey Trot
  • Lose 10 pounds (this happened, but kind of by accident)
  • Not go out to eat more than twice a week
  • Blog twice a week

December looks to be a little quieter (thankfully?) following the first few days being spent in New York, so I’m trying to focus the month on finding a place to live and organizing my stuff to pack up, and think about what my focus for 2017 will be. I have a lot of ideas floating around in my noggin, so it’s time to get serious and sketch some things out.

December Goals

  • Find a place to live!!!
  • Blog twice a week
  • Eat out less than twice a week
  • Four no-spend days per week
  • Finish two books for Goodreads challenge
  • Spend less than $200 on Christmas gifts
  • Drink brewed coffee at the coffee shop 80% of visits
  • Pick a project for 2017

What do you focus on in December?
