Saturday before Nike Women’s Half, I had the pleasure of going to #NWHMBloggerBrunch, hosted by Cat Lady Runs & Love Life Logistics. We met for brunch at Sequoia right next to the expo, and while the food and drinks were good, the company was the best.

(and I think that’s all, let me know if I forgot you!)

In addition to getting to hang out with some great girls and eat some of the best fries I’ve ever had in my life, Stephanie and Roaen hooked us with some great goodie bags from sponsors! It included Nuun (which was great since I neglected to pack any,) samples of Honest Tea (LOVE them,) Bani Bands headbands, Sweat Pink shoelaces, samples from Papa Steve’s, and a medal and race entry from Jost Running along with promo coupons from tons of other brands like Pro Compression, Zensah, Albion Fit and others.

On top of THAT, there was also a raffle with many more fantastic prizes, like Redfox bluetooth headphones, xx2i sunglasses, RoadID gift cards and more. I won a Redfox hammock (perfect for hiking and camping this summer) and an SPI Belt. It won’t replace my must-have Fitletic race belt, but I will definitely use it during everyday runs!

So far I’ve used the Nuun (which I already knew I loved!) and as soon as I got home, I popped open the Racer frame to hang my Nike race bib. The Bani Band that was in my bag was a sparkly Boston Red Socks band, which I put on after the race and wore to the gym on Monday. Two of my BFF’s either live in the city or love the Sox, so it was very fitting that got that pick. Bani Bands have non-slip fabric and are adjustable (which is great because I have a bigger skull) and they have a great mission to empower women!
